Medium white gravy with sliced hard boiled eggs from kids dying them rip up toast and laddle gravy over it, we call it egg gravy on toast gma woulda been 91 today recipe I got from her start rou a little butter melted add flour then alternate cup of milk constantly stirring with cup of flour heat over medium heat till you've added amounts to reach a medium gravy thickness. Cheat methods gma would use to slightly toast flour for a blonde gravy look. Sometimes my teen only wanted store bought so I'd get country gravy mix(not sausage). With gravy from scratch I'd add a pinch of sugar when done. The dyed hard boiled eggs slice and toss in looks cute with the dyed edges that leaked through shell to onto egg. Brandon liked when I made this dish.
