846 x self is about the only decent selfed seed out there (847 Donwaard & 735 Pukos among others) as far as numbers go. It would be good to see a sib. Must be tough finding room for 2 homeless 846s.

I'd make that sacrifice.

Well, i might have some interesting 846 inbred stuff after this year.....especially if i can get my hands on 846 pollen...somehow.....i wont be able to do an exact sib, but maybe cross the 891 tanner or 894 pukos (both 735 x self) with an 846......who knows...

I grew an 1134 Holland last year. The Holland was an 846 Calai X 845 Bobier. I was able to get some male pollen from a 846 and grew a great looking pumpkin, 788 Johnson. I believe the cross is called an F2 backcross. I'm interested to see what I can do with this seed this year. Jerri
