im growing my 340 Campbell which is the 950 boyton x self. IT has been self twice, and the plant was a fast grower, mv was only out 7 ft and the side vines were around 10. These 950 boytons seeds are fast growers if conditions are right, i think i had 45 inches cir day 20

well i grew the 1141 and it was a great plant it grew very steady and had no problems the leaves and vine wasn't as big as other plants we had going but the fruit did well and i must say boily had a good pumpkin as well a hard choice both have good genetics

I grew the Boyton plant last year and it has a lot of potential. Big stems, leaves, and vines. I lost all of my plants to disease in mid-July. At that time I had a pumpkin that was over 45inches on day 12+. The plant was huge and I have no doubt that if disease didn't set in I would have had a nice one. The fruit though tends to be white where as the 1141 should be orange. I will be growing the 1141 this year because I only want orange.IF color is important to you I would go with the 1141.

The 1141 is on my short list for 05. Great genetics, nice orange color and almost 5% heavy to the chart.

i grew my 575 Gerry '04 on the 950.4 Boyton, pollinated it with the 767 Catapano. i cannot rave enough about the
950.4 plant and fruit! the 575 was at about 7 ft. from the
stump, on the main vine, had a nice long stem, and the only problem i had at all was the powdery mildew. the fruit weighed to within 2 pounds of the estimate;
est. 573, actual 575....cool! i will grow it again in '06.
it is time for the 1141 to be grown in my patch, next to the 1140 Stelts.

The 950 was grown by my friend in san diego last year, a trouble free aggressive fast growing plant with incredible heat tolerance up to 110 degrees with no shade cloth or misters, didn't even wilt:) I'm growing it this year. I think the 950 grows best in warm climates, I'm sure it would do well up north too, but it's seem to be the best hot weather seed out there. Jimmy

Thanks Jimmy .
Sure gets hot as heck here from June on.
Sounds like a great seed for this part
of the world.
