Just wondering what you all think could be the next heavy producers this year and some other crosses heavy? Do you think that the 880 Bortner will continue to keep thick walls as shown with 620? As well 494 neuville with case? many more instances, please. Thank you Steve

Steve it would be nice to see you finally produce a pumpkin/ squash / anything.......I will shut up now, as you better get busy with the garden program because time is a wasting and things do not grow here talking about it unless it is a thread on which you typed off of the puter.....No excuses again this season.......It is time to get very busy....and grow something, just another word of advice on another year of listening to you at grow time....good luck, get busy with the seeds you already have.....

625.5 Welty 01. I know I'm not the only who noticed it threw a fruit 36% heavy last year... I see Adam Blalock's growing it this year. Probably some others are growing it as well...

a word of caution regarding ott records

some growers intentionaly under tape or "save a few inches" to avoid disapointment at the scales
likewise some pich up extra inches to "keep her going"

only the grower him or her self knows the truth

also-your soil makeup and the availability of nutrients to be available as the fruit needs them also plays a huge roll in determining thickness of fruit
just because a fruit weighed over the charts in one patch does not always mean it will in yours

ill take all the over one thousand pound pumpkins i can get and dont mind if they are thick or thin as long as the pounds are there
