Does anyone happen to know the genetics of a seed I bought from P&P Seeds back about 1998-1999 called the Ton Cross?

Yes I grew the Waterman Zehr/Greer "1-tonCross" and crossed her into the 810 Dill. We had a new suburban home with a small poor soil garden and still threw down a 410# very orange and round fruit. The seeds from which have grow 600# orange heavy ott fruit for us consistantly in consecutive years. We now have moved and are developing a old mini farm and are again trying the 810/1-ton cross experiment this season! BTW the pumpkin from the 1-ton cross was huge in mid July 300#+ (My pal Jack will verify) it blew July 26th from over fertilization (rookie dumbass mistake).... Wish I had a seed left from the Zehr/Greer cross.

My situation is similar. . .I don't have the seed anymore either, just noticed some descendents doing well. . .haven't ever really given it a prime location.

I have some seeds that are half Ton-Cross and half 713Kurkowski. . .been giving them people with good results under newbie conditions . . .I better try one ?

I have a differnt One Ton Cross from P&P that I think I aquired in about 2002, the Cox 1048 crossed with the K Brown 1007. Planted 2 of four seeds, had a very poor location that year and still got 120 pounds out of it.

I suppose they sold more than one then. . .I wonder if they even mixed it up on a given year?
