i have a plant that is throwing squash what else could i pollinate with it???????????????
LUFFA (my first choice)
CUCUMBER
OKRA
CANTALOUPE i know some of ya guys REALLY know this stuff so i thought id ask

hmmm... Can tell ya that the Okra is most definantly an entirely different species - that won't work..

Cucumber - related.. so might work.
Believe that Luffa is also a related squash/gourd type - so might work..

I've been eyeballing my Cantaloupe as well (for experimental GP pollination - just to see...) I haven't delved into it - but from their phenotype and growth habbits - they are probably part of the same family.. But their flowers are too small to tie shut... I'll find out next year - since they're planted next to the GPs and squash and are open-pollinated. I might have some weird cantaloupe next year **grin**

It is highly unlikely that any of the crops listed would cross pollinate.

Self pollinate & the Green Team will be knocking on your door this winter looking for seeds.
