I'm wondering which seed would be good for crossing with the 670 Daigle since there a lot of people looking for it? The genetic of the 670 Daigle are good.

Really, nothing would be bad...

depends on what you want? want to have the super orange and size carried on? Go for something like the 1016 daletas. or you could cross for size with anything that is 845 bobier lineage, like 1097 beachy. so many other crosses too, hard to go wrong if they have top genetics

Personally, I'd cross another good orange producer with it.
I also like the 1016 Delatas as an option. The 869.5 Calai and the 1370 Rose are some other good options, IMO. These may be somewhat difficult, or costly to come by.
The 710.5 Companion 04 and the 851.5 Companion 04 are some unproven crosses that I'd also consider(810 Dill X 1016 Delatas and reverse cross).
There are so many other good possibilities.

I seriously consider the 1233.5 Reiss 05, 1370 Rose 03, 1225 Jutras and 846 Calai as pollinators.

How about the 500 Northrup? It grew a nice orange one.

I know that this has nothing to do with the question that was asked, if you know how I could contact Mr. Companion would you please e-mail me at mghodge@direcway.com.

As for the question asked, I would keep it orange by crossing it with either the 1016 Daletas, 1230 Daletas, 1370 Rose, 1233 Reiss, 820.5 Glisczinski (Selfed 1016), or maybe the 1225 Jutras.

Anyone noticed that the 670 has also grown 3-4 fruit that were very "unspectacular"?

1370 Rose without a doubt.

Kyle,
I did notice that on the AGGC. I've seen unspectacular fruit off the 810 Dill and the 869.5 Calai, as well. Very good point!!!
It's something to think about, when you're thinking off spending big bucks on a seed. That being said, if I had a 670 Daigle, I'd likely plant it, in hopes of getting a pumpkin like Martin's or Whittier's.

I've got one, and I am planting it in hopes for a big orange pumpkin. Glass half full people...glass half full. I've got better odds of a big orange pumpkin with the 670 Daigle than I do with any other seed in my collection.

Take a look at the 981 Zunino for nice orange genetics.
