I was wondering what the best method of cloning pumpkins would be. In my case I want to over winter plants in my basment and I was wondering what the easiest way would be. Is potting the plant at each leaf node the best way or is it better to construct a cloning bed.
How do you construct a clonig bed? And one last question. If you wanted to split one plant into two clones of that plant how would you do that?

I use the 3 ft. long trays that you dip wall paper in. It worked good for me last year. I would grow from one tray to another. When it would get rooted in the new tray good, I would cut off the old tray, pull out the old growth and then put it ahead of the new growth. This year I am going to get some plastic gutter pipe and cut 1 side out and try it.

Ditto. Wall paper trays are cheaper than window boxes & take up less space when in storage.
