Well, the 1173 is of course the only proven one. And I like the 1333 Connolly, since the pollinator also went over 1200#. Ask me tomorrow and I'll pick a different one, though. If you put 'em all in a brown paper bag and pulled one out blind, you couldn't go wrong...they are all great crosses.

1295 because of the cross.1173 and the 877 nicholas because the 877 was orange and the 851 was orange and heavy.

I vote for the 1295 too. I like the huge and orange potential of it with the 801.5 crossed back into a great 842 seed.

I really like that 854 Jutras, it's not what most people would say I know (especially because the 1104.5 just wasn't magic for alot of us this year). The 1104 Hester and the 500 Wallace are the same great cross, and if I had to predict on thing for next year in pumpkins I would positively say that this would throw extremely heavy OTC pumpkins, if nothing else. Thanks for the great responses. 400 SF, I live outside of Morrison. Also growing in about 400 SF at an altitude of 5672 ft. I gave seed to a couple of co-workers and had a weigh off at work (certified scales). We have talked about joining you guys in the Springs next fall. Should be fun.

What's up crew members. I have these seeds too. I will need proven seeds to trade next fall. I can't even get a damn 603 Muller right now. I have nothing to offer anyone for it. I'm not sure I will plant any of mine this season since I don't think my soil is ready for a seed of this caliber yet anyways.

And no, I wouldn't trade any of these for a 603 (by itself) if anyone was curious.

I am really enjoying my SNGPG newsletter, by the way!

they are all !'05! seeds--they will be around for awhile.
yes they are all awesome crosses, and i echo Big Dave in that the 842 X 801.5 sounds like a good one.
if you have or get proven seeds why be bent on trading them?
once you get proven seeds, well, you GROW them. i'll bet
some of the above get way over the 1000 pounds mark in '06.
but, for gosh's sake plant a few----YOU may grow the one(s)
that prove them. do not hold off because you THINK your soil is bad! grow your seeds.
what have you got to lose, really? eric

No problem Eric. The 842 x 801.5 is looking like the one to go with. - Kirk
