I have the packet and seeds and it says

793# GPC
Pumpkin Seed

then in handwriting below it says
GB__________Weir
923____X____ 914
F.___________M.

I'm assuming it's the same pumpkin weighed at two different sites (International Pumpkin Association and Great Pumpkin Commonwealth). I think GB is Gary Burke. Correct any of this, and also I'm looking for parents, size relative to other pumpkins in that year, rareness of seed, progeny, and whatever else anyone comes up with. Thanks, AleX Noel.

You are correct in assuming that the 798/793 N Zehr Pumpkin is one and the same. In 1996 i grew the 968 Zehr Seed which most people call the 963 when in fact it should be known as the 968 as that was it's first and official weight. I used to have the on paper family trees for the Zehr Pumpkins but unfortunately all of these were either given away or destroyed in 1997/8. If i manage to find any remnants of information, which will be almost impossible, on the Zehr Pumpkins here i will forward the details to you.
