We live in a the coastal town to Santa Cruz, California. Our patch is about a mile away from the ocean. Our temperatures range in the summer from 60 to 80 degrees. What seeds do well under these conditions? What seeds would you recommend we grow next year?

That's about an average area temperaturewise, and I've never heard of a humidity or salt tolerant seed so maybe something from another near ocean grower. AleX Noel.

In 2005 Eda Muller in Half Moon Bay, CA grew the biggest pumpkin ever grown coastside in California with a 981 Zunino. This was the 653 Muller. Her patch is in the fog belt about a half a mile from the coast.
