I was just sitting here looking at 2005 seeds and crosses and havnt heard to much talk about this seed.I did hear that not to many of these seeds to go around.I cant wait to see what you growers get when you plant this bad boy. Its one of the seeds in 05 I think will "surprise" alot of people. Just a prediction though.

Andy Wolf said that there were very few seeds. So, whoever does get a seed will be lucky! It was too bad so many large pumpkins this year had so little seeds.

I plan to plant the 1407 this year if it does good it may
be my main pollenator ! I also think that the 1332 Werner
has the same outlook ! They both till see dirt .

To any of the few who have and will grow the 1407...keep us posted on the texture of the flesh. Wondering if it will turn out like mama...which was quite different from most AG's...

i'm growing it in the same spot where the 1407 was grown, which i'm assuming is my best spot. I feel very confident in the seed. i'm shooting for 1507!

Andy, what are you going to do diff to add 100#? Mr. Hook, have you figured out a half-way point between you and me? LOL Peace, Wayne
ps Can the difference in the texture be described?

do different? pray more, i guess.

i put down a little manure last fall, and have a minimal rye cover crop on top. except for a small amount of gypsum, it is very likely that i won't do anything different than what i did to the 1407.
