On average how many days after the female appears does the flower open for pollination? How can you tell when it is ready to open?

whenever the flower itself basically DOUBLES in size,
and usually takes-on a peachy/yellow hue to it,
then probably the next day it will open.
the reason why i use little mesh nylon drawstring baggies
to protect my flowers is they can open the day AFTER
i had thought they would and therefore i can usually still make the cross i wanted, IF the males are still plentiful---eric g

funny that at the SAME exact time i was describing the
flowering event, my 600 Fasciano was doing just what i was describing, but there were NO male flowers for me to use from any of my plants. so i did not have the baggies out yet,lol....eric g
