I like the 1347.4 Wallace(1068 X 1370 Rose) as well. It could be liked to a souped up 723/845 Bobier X 846 Calai cross.
The 1450 Wallace(1068 X sibb) could be dynamite!
Of course the old-fashioned 1068 Wallace 03 ain't too shabby.
Crosses like these tempt me to stray from growing seeds based on good color genetics.

hey you

Greencastle, PA

if they had a good 1354 the 1502 (1068x1354) could be really nice. I really like the 1125 McKie. It is 1068 Wallace x 1407 Wolf and weighed 20% heavy.

The perfect seed is the one that hits the dirt in your patch and gets a PB,,,that said proving 3 seeds this year has been such a great feeling I intend to continue with that program.
A "great" Wisconsin grower was amazed when I told him I might not plant any proven seeds next year. I for one think that the genetics are now to the point that if you get seeds from a trusted and experienced grower they will save you years in trying to make your own "line" of seeds,,just choose what you are aiming for and let it happen.
Planting your own shows that you have confidence in what you did last July,,,adding to that from the new crosses already done and waiting to be planted saves many years of growing and waiting for results,,,(I'm already compiling a list if excuses in case the "sopomore jinx" hist me,,lol)

The "Perfect Seed" is the one we start on time & deliver nothing short of ideal conditions from late April until the first week in October.

All seeds can be "perfect" & all seeds can be "imperfect".

What makes a seed LOOK perfect is the grower who delivers the most perfect growing conditions.

That said the 1068 LOOKS like it has the most perfect predisposition.
