Following up the thread below, what examples do we have of "performance of the pollinator"? That is, a seed that was created where the pollinating plant did something great?

I'll start. (Sorry to keep bringing this particular example up...) The 125 Wolf, pollinator was the 723 Bobier, and this particular one grew 1407. The 125 has had some nice early success.

What other examples do you have?

If you would, tell us the seed in question, the pollinator, and why the pollinator was noteworthy. Not everyone is on AGGC... Thanks!

1058 Houghton = 712 kuhn x 845 bobier. The pollinator(845) grew the 1337 houghton.

998 pukos = 1420 larue x 1446 eaton. Pollinator(1446) grew 1231 pukos.

720 Rose: 712 Kuhn x 723 Bobier

It was the monster of Jerry Rose's patch (ahead of the 1370 and 1367.5) and was pollinated with the 723 Bobier which grew the 1367.5 which had excellent shape.
The 720 is in my line-up for 2006, and I think it may be the best seed we've never planted.

Thanks for picking this up Cliff. I only have room for 4 plants (to be fair to them) and I think the P of the P will be a mature, decent shaped pumpkin for all of them. Im having a blast with these things...I figure my chances wont be hurt.
