Any thoughts on this seed? How can a seed be 12.81% lite if its UOW? UnOfficial scale? WOndering on potetial?

I grew it a couple of years back because of the great cross. But it just grew a 400 lb wheel. I still think it has potential but I hear that it splits very often. I know that Jim Kuhn had a good one going that split a couple of years ago. I hear that the story behind this pumpkin that it was growing like crazy. I heard that the pumpkin was measured half way through the day and then after lunch was looked at again (about an hour later) and there was a huge split in it. I would like to grow it again but there are so many good seeds out there now.

The highest official weight anybody has ever gotten off the 1056.5 is 757 lbs and quite a few people tried. The five that got above that (4x 700 lbs and 1 x 1000 lb) were all damaged or uow.

uow wasn't weighed on a official certified scale, was within 5 pounds either way. Dueck is my neighbor and your right a splitter fast grower but won't hold. True went in for coffee came out 1 hour later and had a huge split, was there to witness lol
