I am curious which fruit has produced the highest % over estimate. I know the 709.5 McCallum was 34.2% over and the 753 Pappas was 32.27 % over. What others were over?

Big Kahuna 25

Ontario, Canada.

Sam, the 1156 Larsen was 22% over.

Another question I would like to ask would be. Are there any seed lines out there that consistantly produce heavy fruit? If so what is the largest number of generations that can be tracked to all include heavy offspring?

This is more of a highjack on sambo's post, sorry, but Russ in my research, and by no means complete, but I think the heavy weights to scale will come from a seed like the 1171 Hemphill. I really believe the genetics of this seed hsd what is required to produce consistent 20% over chart fruit.
The 1171 is a 842 Eaton by 1109 Larue

while there are many seeds that have show a consistancy to produce thicker walled fruit a couple other major factors come into play
soil balance and calcium levels available to the plant.is the ce off and not allowing for nutrient uptake making it impossible to grow properly?etc.

also i have found that most fruit 700 and under tend to weigh over the charts. i dont believe the walls start to thin out much until the real size is built. which is where the nutrient uptake/ce deal becomes key.

Sammy, I think you nailed the top 2, I think for a while the 1260 Weir was up there in growing pumpkins way over the charts.

Just a shameless plug for Buzz's 847 Pinkham 06' (460 Clark x 953.2 Whittier) which was a nice Orange, ( 28.45% HeAvy )
Am hoping to see her produce many heavy offspring!
