hey you

Greencastle, PA

Does anyone have some information on this pumpkin and its progeny? I'm interested in the cross, but I'd like to know more about it. I'm especially interested in any details about fruit shape, internal structure, and the pollinator's offspring. Thanks.
Tom

Tom:
910.5 was a nice shape, ribbing (and color was coming) but it split early. 11% heavy. I believe it was one of Todd's fastest growers until the split. Not sure what Todd's 1458 did. He will probably see this and post.
The 910.5 grew the 921 Reinsvold 06.

Sorry, i'm getting over a head injury from my shed door,
The 910.5 started out a small plant, and picked up momentum, and never slowed down, the 921 Reinsvold was the second on the main vine at 17 ft 4 lober, i did not have to position the fruit at all long stem, and at a perfect 90 degree angle it was not done growing at 921 it still had 2 to 3 inc blossum stem, but we knew we had the new NC record it was weighed on the 29 of sept me , and bunch of freinds, and fellow growers had to harvest a few days before hand thats the only time we could all meet. Remember NC is very hot, and humid so it does well in the heat, and all the while i was nervous about the blossum end splitting, When cut open it was 13inc thick. Also the plant at harvest was still totaly green , and no disease. at the end of my diary you can see one of its progeny, Roger Reinsvold RogNC 06
