Perhaps this is a subject of a previous post across which I haven't come, but I was wondering how the 1370 Rose has performed as a pollinator.

The two seeds I have heard spoken of with the most fondness as pollinators are the 846 Calai and 898 Knauss. Famous examples of these two being used as pollinators are the 1180 Daletas (898 x 846 Calai), and the 1068 Wallace (845 Bobier x 898 Knauss).

The 840 Parks (723 Bobier x 1370 Rose) did pretty well first year out, but I was wondering how other paternal offspring of the 1370 have performed. Have the 1370 males brought some of the weight and color characteristics into the offspring for which the 1370 is so highly desired?

I checked out the AGGC, to see how it's performed as a male. It does seem to contribute orange color to the 1069.5 Ligget and the 669 Bosworth. Concerning weight, it's difficult to tell. There aren't a large amount of progeny listed, when the 1370 is the male.
It did seem to perform well in the 840 Parks, but that's just one seed from that pumpkin.
