Milford

milford, CT,

I grew the 1081 Leonzi last year and it was very orange. It is also the same cross as the 1068 (845 x 898). If it wasn't for a blossum end problem it was on track to be a nice pumpkin.

what ever you pick i would rather see you pick a seed from a parent that went over 1.000 pounds.
i just feel these have a better than average chance for success (genetic history)

id go with the 1081 leonzi, 1097 mombart and 1074 brunst as my third choice.

the 1081 crossed with the 1097 mombart makes an interesting cross. if i had room for two plants only id cross each with the other.

I would have to go with the 1073 Blalock (1058 Houghton x 1048 Companion) 969 Golat (783 Daletas x 1076 Werner)or 601 Sherwood (1107 Cramer x 810 Dill) if color was my primary goal.
