I soaked mine for 12 hrs. When i took it out to get it potted it had already sprouted. I had some seed from Cary that did the same thing. It,s ready to go into the ground in the morning

anabolic steroids? could be Mark just before i started the 1044 was going through my baseball cards, might have touched a Bary Bonds card:)

maybe it was my special formula of seed starter mix that i use.bigger secret than bush beans.
but why didnt the other three seeds come as fast?
I use soil dug up around the Surry power plant, the seeds have a funny glow about them and the 12 cot leaves have never been a real problem.
hmmmmm couldnt be the seed itself!?!

well i guess i have to give credit to Tom and his 1004 seed. rats...

Hey Ed, maybe if you had used the soil from the power plant on your $600.00 1068 Wallace that you planted during the April snow it would have made it! HA HA!

I too am planting the 1044 Privitera this year. It, like most of yours' was the quickest to "pop". It is still in the lead as far as size and growth. It will hit patch soil tomorrow. Thanks for a great seed Tom.
