i was wondering if there is any corralation between the color of the seeds and the color of the fruit ex brown = orange etc

No. Some think the white seeds are superior to the brown for size. I don't know if this holds true any more. The white seeds seem to be a recessive trait.

White seeds are a recessive trait. All tho I myself prefer
the white seeds both go big. White sometimes will give more orange but that doesn't hold true now you can get off colored from a white seed. Thus with a recessive white seed gene unless it carries both recessive genes you can get a brown
seed from the white seed planted white do seem to germ faster
for me.

Agree with all but will also add that white seeds are simply missing the heavy tan layer found on tan seeds.
