Bill, if you don't already know (if you want to), go to this here bigpumpkins home page, go to main menue, find links, go to aggc, join for free, it takes a day, it shows the top 100 or so pumpkins, starting with 1689 jutras, it will also give the genetics/parental of the seed.

Bill, if you have this seed its definitely a great seed as you can tell by looking at the GPC, there wasn't very many seeds that came out of that pumpkin.

Chuck's information is correct. The pumpkin originally caught people's notice because it was extremely heavy to the chart, and 3rd heaviest in the world overall that year. Since then it has grown 2 pumpkins over 1400 pounds, as well as some nice thick ones and a couple that split. There were only 57 seeds in the pumpkin, but I think there are still a few out there floating around. So far, it's offspring have also done well.

hey bill, have 1 yr membeership in AGGC..don't have full access..so i can only see whaaat is listed from '07 season...when need something back farther than that then i search out briansinsanity.com ....a great info site for someone just getting into this or limited fund availabilities...lol...anyways, it is valuable resource and proper used can really enhance ones knowledge of gentics associated with AG groweers..personally, i try to keep "pedigree" sheet off of each seed that i have. it helps when planning seed crosses...hopefully this helps..Joe
