I have aquired some great seeds this winter. This is only my third year growing and I really don't want to mess this up. What would you plant if you had these to choose from.......1228 Jutras 'o5 1225.4 Jutras 'o3 1524.5 Liggett 'o7 1256.5 McKie 1068 McKie'o4 1404 McKie 'o7. Any good crosses I should be looking for here?
Any help will be appreciated!!! Thanks

CityGirl, if it were me I think I would go with the 1404 McKie (998 Pukos X 1039 Leonard) and 1228 Jutras (1068 Wallace X 842 Eaton). I'm thinking with those genetics they would make an AWESOME cross! Also the 1225 would make an awesome cross with either of those. Just my opinion.

We missed you at Circleville on the 30th. I obtained some of Doc's 1368's and think this is the best best with an SOGPG seed. His cross of the 664.5 with the 1102 Sperry looks to be a real winner.

Can't argue with the other seeds though. That 1228 looks really good. I know you're on the northern fringes of our territory, but I'm growing a 985 werner and 893 Privitera if you'd like pollen. Feel free to e-mail Doc for some crossing advice.

I am planting two. My sweet patch partner is planting the Liggett...(he paid for it...) I also found a 384 Huffer in my stash. Joe, may want some pollen, thanks for the offer, I don't have Doc's email....What happened on the 30th???
