Going from the Hubbard, to the AG.
So far as I know, the original giant squashes, that were later bred to be orange in what we today call the Atlantic Giant, even earlier, started out as nothing more than the Blue Hubbard.
Or was it that the AG and BH both have a common ancestor, that was bred in two different directions?
Technically, they are still the same species, just drastically different phenotypes, but therein lays the difference.
Similar shell, internal meat, vines, yet one looks like a colossal C.Pepo pumpkin, the other a big gray lemon.
