I'm thinking of back up seeds for next year, anybody know of a 1566 Rodonis x 1556 Werner cross that was done this year.

Richard, I was looking at the new arrivals on AGGC and Jack Larue's 831.5 is 1566 Rodonis x 1556.5 Werner.

Yes we did cross the 1566 with the 1556. We also crossed the 1556 with the 1566. The 1556 was our largest but lost it to a stem split. The 1566 was solid and 18% over the chart.

Richard, The 831.5 was solid no growth rings or splits anywhere and 18% over the chart. Will you grow the 831.5 in 2009?

No, I have the two seeds I want to grow already, I'm thinking if something happens and they do not sprout I will have back ups and they look like extremely nice seeds to have.
