A lot of discussion has gone on in diffrent threads about the importance the 898Knauss has played in getting us where we are today. I have believed in the 898 genetics since 2003 when the cross section photo of the 1156 Larson emerged for the first time. The wall thickness of the 1156 was like nothing we had ever seen before. I felt that the 898 was going to be a key factor in future genetics for years to come. It was for this reason i planted the 898 for three years straight, using it as a key pollinator. I also did a remake of the 898 in 2003 (503 Beauchemin). In 2005 I went one step further in my genetics patch and crossed the 898 into my 503(898 remake),this produced the 340 Beauchemin. This seed has never seen soil or been used as a pollinator. Could it possibly take us to another level in male pollinators?
I currently have plenty of each seed in my inventory if anyone is interested. Email me at pmpkngrwr@hotmail.com
