I am leaning closer towards giving this seed a shot in 2009. I collected several of these because I saw potential and I still do- for this to go big AND orange. Yes, it was a big white pumpkin, but the cross is 842 Eaton x 801 Stelts. The 842 is 50% 846 Calai and obviously we know what the 801 pollinator is capable of. There are no offspring in the AGGC; does anyone know of a pumpkin grown from this seed, and what was the color?

I grew that seed in 06 just to see what kind of color it would produce. the pumpkin didnt set untill late in the season and cold weather stopped it from growing past 150lbs or so. It was a real dark orange pumpkin with a real nice shape to it.

Thanks Brooks.I won this seed in the OVGPG Seed Auction and I was wondering the same thing. I saw that Bushwacker grew the 358 Fasciano off the 1295 but, he had no pictures. Also, Brian's Insanity has a 388 Seidel 2006 as an offspring. It sounds like a great cross.

Thanks Brooks, I thought you were planting that seed but then I never heard any mention of it from you.

Alex- any info on the 1259.5 Michaud (% heavy or picture)?

Sorry I have nothing on that pumpkin. I just happened to have that info handy as I also have that seed. Michaud used it as a pollinator this year at one of the weighoffs.

Does anyone happen to know what the 801 pollinator grew?
