I purchased the AGHAIST1075_08 seeds from P&P seeds. I am trying to research the lineage of this seed. All I have been able to find for certain is that this seed is a cross from F 1231.3PUKOS X M 1041.5McKIE. Does anyone here know where/how I can find the complete lineage of this seed?

So now I am really confused about this seed.

1. If you look at the GPC weigh off results you see number 67 on the list is Karl Haist. His pumpkin is listed as 1231 lbs.

2. The cross for that pumpkin was 1041.5 McKie 06 x    1180 Pukos

3. P and P seed lists the AGHAIST1075_08 as a cross between the F 1231.3PUKOS X M 1041.5McKIE.

What am I missing here?

Western NY

- Karl grew a few pumpkins over 1000 pounds last year, which included a 1075, 1231, and a 1177* squash

- His 1075 (weighed at Clarence, NY) was grown from the 1231 Pukos seed, and pollinated with the 1041 McKie

- The 1041 McKie plant that he had in grew his 1231 pound pumpkin, which was weighed at Pumpkinville.

The 1231 and 1041 are both great seeds, so this should be a good cross worthy of being planted a few times.

hey you

Greencastle, PA

Here's a look through a couple generations of the 1231x1041

Grandparents: ((1446 Eaton x 1420 Larue)x(842 Eaton x 1068 Wallace)
Great grandparents: (((842 Eaton x 1301 Eaton)x(1104 Hester x 1180 Daletas))x ((846 Calai x 723 Bobier)x(845 Bobier x 898 Knauss)))

The 1301 Eaton is 842 x 1236 Eaton, the 1236 being the reverse cross of the 842 (723 Bobier x 846 Calai); 1104 Hester is 898 Knauss x 845 Bobier; 1180 Daletas is 898 Knauss x 846 Calai.
So the 1075 has 100% 723, 845, 898, and 846 genetics (surprise!) that have been through a few generations of selection and shown the potential to grow big pumpkins. I like your odds with this one.
