I was wondering how these seeds did when they hit dirt in 08? Did anyone plant em? If so howd they do and did they go heavy?

Any intel on these two seeds would be helpfull.

I grew the 1012 Hester (842x898). It was a great plant but went down to disease the last saturday of August. It had a lot more in it and was doing great up until then, it would have produced my patch best had it survived. The last week the plant was alive it did 19 lbs/day for the week. It taped 1112 and weighed in at 1071.

The 1348 is begging to be planted more, trust me, I hear the seed bag all night long.... That 1012 knows its a star. The one that talks to me the loudest is the 1400. Nobody that I know of planted it. It is the 1068 Wallace x my 897, and yes the 897 was 23% heavy (1260 wier x 695 Handy) and grew the 1100 on a secondary.

I know the 1148 Sproule went a little light, not sure about the other won. I did not even know there was another one. That 500 pounder is nice, was it really that shiny on its own or was it rubbed with wax?

Its probably been rubbed down with oil. I once put a dab of furniture wax on some of my cinderellas, which really made that red 'pop'. Later here I heard here of someone using olive oil. That's probably easier esp on a larger fruit.
