Wondering if the 1502 is genetically a "skyrocket" or if my soil is out of balance? Even secondaries are reaching skyward, but better managed than main because of smaller size. Any feedback appreciated! Duff

Are you sure you don't have it planted on your long gourd trellis???? Ha! The 1502 that I have seems to be a ground hugger although I have had better luck with the high reachers they are a pain in the butt and can snap off from time to time.

yes they tend to reach for the sky at times. With warmer temps over the next few days they should lay down.

My 1502 main vine did a "roller-coaster" style loop on me last year in just a 24-hour period. It snapped the main vine off at the bottom of the exit loop.

Thanks for the input guys...good to know my soil isn't way out of whack...cut off ferts over a week ago. Hopefully we can get some warm weather and get back to normal growth.
