The season isn't quite over and I had some time on my hands,
so I checked the stats on the heaviest pumpkins according to GPC stats. Top 100 of 337 fruit over 1000 lbs:
( some numbers are missing and some are repeated on the GPC list )
985 Werner- 10
1161 Rodonis- 10
1385 Jutras- 7
991 Urena- 7
904 Stelts-4
998 Pukos- 3
1288 Wallace, 1207 Young, 1556 werner, 1306 Jutras, 1566 Rodonis, 1528 Starr, 1370 Rose and 1568 Connolly all had 2 in the top 100.

Top 200 fruit over 1000 lbs:

1385 Jutras- 22
1161 Rodonis- 15
985 Werner- 14
991 Urena- 9
998 Pukos- 6
1207 Young- 4
904 Stelts- 4
1568 Connolly- 4
1306 Jutras- 3
1556 Werner- 3

The top 4 doesn't change from 100 to 200 over and these 4 account for 34% of the top 100 over 1000 lbs and 60% of the top 200 over 1000 lbs.
* Only meant for illustration purposes, the grower names next to each weight has more to do with the results than anything else.

Correction: that should read 30% of the top 200 not 60%.
