What do you guys think about this seed, It could be one of those seeds that have been over looked by all the other of Joe's great seeds, mainly his 1385 and 1306 seed.

Looks like the 954 Jutras (1385 Jutras x 1631 Jutras) has only been grown one time this year , and it grew a 1312 Parente'09.

Is Parente a new grower?, Not taking away any from Mr Parente but if he is a new grower then what do you think a Quinn, Joe, or the more experienced growers might be able to grow this seed to? Might be a good seed to think about.

Anyone else know of some seeds out there like this one that have been so called over looked but grew one or two big ones and forgotten about?

And here I though this year was going to be easy to pick my starting line up,,lol.

I agree Brooks, Joe's got so many other great seeds, though the 1306 and 1385.5 seem to be taking all the attention.
Which is why I'll be growing the 1295 Jutras in 2010.

How about the 966 Jutras from 2008? It's the 1385 Jutras x 998.6 Pukos. It's going into my patch for 2010.

Race, your exactly right, only four total of that cross done by other growers, 2 in 2008 which neither has been grown yet and 2 was done in 2009. That could be a killer cross to grow for sure.

I really like the reverse cross that has been done on the 1236 Harp 09 (998 x 1385). The pollinator 1385 grew the 1725 Harp. I think you will see that seed planted a bunch next year.

Brooks,check out the 1432 Northrup 09 (998 x 1385)and the 1194 Northrup 09 (1385 x 998) now those are some very good looking crosses.BTW you will see these on the mgpg seed auction .
