I'd do a cross between the 1622 young and the 1355 bhaskaran, reverse cross to.

I am going to cross the 1622 x 1355. If you want to keep the genetic line going cross the 1622 x 948 (they polinated each other). The 948 was cut at 50 days in order to enter the iowa state fair. It would have been big.

The 1370 C-P grew a nice big orange 1351 for Ralph Trumm. The 450 McWilliams should go orange, and it has a lot of 1068 Wallace, 998 Pukos and 1207 Young in it. That should be a good cross for big and orange. The 450 stopped growing too early becaue of all the rain and the flash flood.

The 1622 no question. The 948 would also be a high priority on my list. Some of the others look nice but the Young patch produced 2 over 1600 this year and that 948 would have been dang close to being #3 IMHO.
