Hmmmmmmm,,, the 1443 Rumancik you say?,,,,, Well,,, the 1443 Rumancik was one of the reasons why I wanted to grow the 991 Urena seed this year, which Dave Rumanik (Venari) helped me find.
The 1443 was a heck of a looking pumpkin. But ask Dave this coming October when he grows a 1600 plus lber off it,,lol.,, But yea, I really like that seed alot.

Oh, and keep your eye out for the 1443 and many other 2009' seeds on the Barnesville web site. The seed sale will be coming real soon. Lots of great seeds with some great cross's to be had.

This was Dave's second year growing right? He's a great guy and he has an awesome LG growing trellis.

Tim, not exactly sure how long hes been growing AG.s, but not that long, but I know hes been growing long gourds for a good long time, hes became pretty good friends over the years with Leonardo Urena from growing long gourds.

But this is just another Ohio grower out of the bunch We/I have to worry about just so we can at least make the top 20 at our weigh offs,,lol.
Hes passionate about growing and knows his stuff when it comes to seed progeny out there and what seeds could be the best to grow, I really like his theories on seed selections. Hes another reason why Im growing the 1253 McMullen '09 seed, he sent me a paper on biggest mother/father cross's and I like that seed real well.

Tim,, Watch out for the 1253 McMullen (991 x 1119) next year also,,lol.
