Just thinking out loud, why hasn't this one received much attention. 1231 Pukos x 1068 Wallace. Hmmmmm It's the only cross of it's kind and essentially the same genes as 1446 Werner, 893 Privitera and 1462 Gibson, and a few others that produced 17 over 1000 lbs. Not looking for seeds, have a few already. Genetically it's the reverse of 1385 Jutras. The fruit was orange, thick and built like a rock. As per Steve Jepson, I may put them behind a file cabinet, forget them and re-discover them in a few years.

You talked me into growing that seed last year Andy,,lol,, But I'm definitely going to give it a shot this year. Its going to be the only seed of mine own out of 10 seeds that I will be planting.
Hopefully it will grow like the 1161 Rodonis (1231 Pukos x 1450 Wallace) seed has grown. genetics are really close, just hope it grows monsters like that 1161 has in the past and in the future.
I think that seed gives me my best chances as far as what cross's I have done over the years, well Im hoping anyway. Thanks for the mentioning that seed Andy, maybe some other growers will give it a try.

Problem is Andy that Brooks is a bit of a seed monger and doesn't really share much. If he sent out a few bubbles instead of receiving hundreds each year, maybe someone would grow his seeds....

Brooks, you should send Christy and Nick a few of those 710 seeds and let a real grower give them a shot!!

Most of our seeds sit as collectables, kinda like baseball cards! Got some from the LaRue's dating back to th mid 90's.

If you put a Micky Mantle rookie card in the ground, you will not grow another Micky Mantle. Pumpkin seeds are not baseball cards.
