Anyone know of any offspring from this seed? If so, how was the color and shape? Any links to pics?

Doug, I grew it in 2008. It was grown in a shaded area of my patch and I didn't do much work on the plant. One thing for sure is that it had very orange pumpkins with the longest stems I have ever seen. I ended up growing a couple of pumpkins on it. One around 400 lbs. and another around 300 lbs. If you hve that seed and like orange I highly recomend it. There is one picture in my2008 diary, but it was a pretty young pumpkin at the time. It ended up being bright orange at the end of the year.

Thanks Steve....I did the pic in your 2008 diary when I did a search on it. It looked to have very nice shape in that pic.

The 730 Dill (2006) was grown by Howard Dill. It was one of 2 pumpkins on the plant.

The cross is :

Female: 1016 Daletas
X
Male: 810 Dill

The offspring tend to be very dark orange. Todd Kline grew a 975 in 2007 and another one that weighed 856 also in 2007.

I lost the pumpkin on the 730 Dill that I grew last year. However, I used it as the pollinator for the 735 Veader-Hahn. It was a very dark pumpkin. Photos are on AGGC and howarddill.com underbig-n-beautiful
