You could consider a 1191 or 1069 Zunino or 982 Northrup. All three have generations of orange.

I only searched for true orange ( both parents ) and there aren't as many as you would think, granted it was a quick search.
1250 Kline
1002 Companion
570 Grande
1048 Companion. I went by looks on the last one, it appears to have a long stem.

the 1191 does not always throw good orange but it might make a good cross next year crossing your 923 into it all the sets on my 1191 had long stems and i have a pretty nice torpedo shaped pumpkin growing

I don't know about the length of its stem, but next year I'll probably be planting an 856 Harnica seed for orange (772 x 670).

I grew the 730 Dill a couple of years ago. It had the longest stems of any pumpkins i have ever grown. Great orange color also. I think I have one of the seeds left. It might be a good one to work with.

I grew the 587 Dill 08 (730 Dill x 998 Pukos)last year as a side project. It had a long stem and a round shape but it aborted because I tried to grow it in a pot lol.
So maybe the long stem came from the 730 side of the cross.

735 Veader-hahn is a 1191Northrup x 730Dill. I grew one this year and all the females had real long stems. It produces long real orange fruit.

I'm curious, how long is considered "long" and when do you measure it?The 1108 Miller that I have grown 3 pumpkins on this year all had stems that were over 9 inches long at day 20. The 1368 that I grew had a 5 inch stem at the same time.
