Am i still able to trade seeds who are handpolinated with 2-3 or more males from different plants.Or am i not allowed to do that?Is it a must that it has to be only one male?I have 3 plants every year.and i cross them both ways.Is that ok or is it a no no?Maybe a stupid question,i dont know.I would like to do the things the correkt way.Thanks. Generally, only flowers from 1 male plant are used to get a "controlled cross".If you used males from several different plants , then that would be considered an open polination ,because you really don't know which plant did the deed. I think the seeds would be less desired because most people are looking for certain traits. But, that does not mean you can't grow a big pumpkin from a seed that was open pollinated.
