I am going to plant this plant next year and whanted to know how it did for other people. What was the most weight gain it did? What was the average weight gain, and what was the final weight.

Mine was white! Nice shape tall and even. Didn't get a fair chance due to the the cold wet weather we had but I would grow it again.

I grew one in the genetics patch. 80 sq ft plant yielded a 457# fruit.I did the math,if it was in a 600sq ft patch, I would of got a 3427#er-ha

Strange, isn't it. The 1236 produced my 928 at Shoreline this year and was given the Howard Dill award. Tall and orange.

Jim, the 1193.7 was on the 1041 McKie. My 1223 that I weighed at Altoona was grown on the 1236. It was a long barrel shaped fruit with good orange color. Our other 1236 plant, I believe had more potential than the plant that produced the 1223, it produced a white pumpkin that was shaped alot like the 1689. They were the two latest pollinations in the patch and just ran out of time and good weather.

The 1236 is a great seed that I believe could throw some huge fruit before its done I would encourage anyone to grow it.

I liked this plant. My pumpkin had a nice orange color and roundish shape. No big gains on the pumpkin but it kept growing right up until it was picked at 92 days old.
