Hi Kenny I have definitely seen those types of flowers before; I am pretty sure they have been on plants that produce normal looking pumpkins.

thats a male gourd flower. some stray pollen must have gotten into the female on whatever seed that come from. If you contact the grower of the female, ask them if they had some assortd' bush gourd plants. i think you will have your answer. should be pretty interesting to see what the fruit will look like.

good luck.........

I had some flowers that looked like that last summer. I don't know how common it is, but I'm sure it didn't cross with any true gourds, that are in a different species.

Kenny dont worry every once in a while a plant will do this and they grow fine.

Kenny hold down your F11 key for 3 seconds then let go.

What does that remind you of? ;p

Ok, that was mean, but I've had too many beers. If you're still growing after the quake you got my r'spec :)
