What is anyone's opinion about the cross of a 1467 Frias (F)(Female: 991 Urena,Male 1255.5 Urena) x 1441 N. Harp 2010 (Female: 1236 Harp 09 x Male: 1725 Harp 09)- (M)?
Cross would be: F: 1467 Frias (09) x M: 1441 N. Harp 2010

Should be a great cross. All four grandparents have produced pumpkins over 1400. I think you meant the Urena 1200.5 which won Elk Grove in 2005; not 1255.5. Can I get a couple of seeds from it next year?

So far, my "test" sprouts are doing GREAT, with 80% success rate in plants. So, this weekend, will start the seeds I intend to plant in 2011.

I might try the last week in April here in Quincy on the theory we that they might grow slower in the cooler weather. Of course that means lots of protection when they first go in the ground.
