I'm surprised there weren't more pumpkins grown from this seed in 2010, given the genetics (1161 Rodonis 07 x 1385.5 Jutras 07). I only see one official weight: 1013 Watson (1209 Jutras x 1136 Connolly). Also one unofficial: 400 Vanderpool UOW. One grower in Sacramento started one but pulled it because of salts in his soil. I thought maybe there was a low seed count but it looks like at least 4 growers clubs sold that seed. Any idea why we haven't seen more grown from this one?

sometimes very good seeds just get caught up in a numbers game and dont get the attention they deserve.

Too many seeds, too little of garden space. With all the crosses made each year, it's a wonder why we all chase so few seeds. There are a lot of great looking seeds out there that haven't had a chance. You never know which one might prove to be winner.
Grow one of your own seeds & you might just surprise yourself.
