Hi there, is there anyone in the great AG growers community who is growing a 1504 Paton seed this year? So far, I haven´t spotted one in the diaries, but who knows...maybe I haven´t checked diaries carefully enough. As the 1504 Paton had such a striking shape, I´m curious to see whether this behavior was just a random event or if these features would still determine the shape of the next generation. Thanks alot for your help, I appreciate all hints at diaries which report the developments of 1504 Paton seeds.

Looks like four growers started or planned to start 1504 Patons. Seed one (Marty S),javier papaseit, bartdg, and Dandytown. Just type "1504 Paton" into the Site Search space in the upper right area of screen and hit GO and it will give you all the places it is mentioned on the site.

Thanks alot for that hint (don´t know how I could have been so stupid to not having tried a site search on that so far). These four plants should at least be a semi-representative bunch which might answer my question as to the shape of the next generation. ...still hoping that my entry on the message board will find some additional growers who have not revealed the identities of their plants yet.

Pumpking, I did plan to sow the 1504 Paton but went for the 1366 Paton instead. I only had room for one pumpkin so I gave a bunch of seeds away. Wish I had kept that one though. With regards to the shape do you mean in that it was very wide and flat? The 1366 Paton that I am growing whilst only small at 200lbs on D47 is turning into a pancake. Have not checked the family tree of the 1504
