If you grew this seed this year did you notice an unusual amount of disease resistance? I noticed from Jeff Zoellners diary last year that the 1421 Stelts that grew the 1663 looked perfect right to the end. I grew (still growing) the 1663 this year and the plant still looks great...almost no PM, and no other diseases as well. Other plants in my patch are long gone from PM, Downey Mildew, etc and this one is fine even though they all received the same treatments. Just an observation, not sure if it a genetic response or just coincidence.

I grew a cutting(clone) of the 1663 and it held up better than its neighboring plants disease wise.
