I'm growing it this year. It grew three pumpkins last year, all over 1500 pounds and it would be nice to keep that streak going. I saw Mathison's 1554 at HMB and it was a beauty. It was the largest from the 1409.

two seeds from top 5 in 2009. crossed together one was ugly white and long-never mind the paint job in hollywood-the other big tall round and orange ya i expect some real big surprises this fall

Not real curious about what the 1409 is gonna do this year,as I think we here in california have a pretty good idea ;-)............
