Ya several of us used PPFM's last year (2011). I had a hard time with conclusive results as my plants were such a train wreck from the heat / humidity.

I think part of the secret would be quick and efficient means for weekly tissue tests. You'd be spot on with nutrition from beginning to end.

ga3 ? we tried it once many years ago. who knows it may help by todays standards of growth? we may have even used it wrong. it was many years ago when we were looking for a majic bullet. it does cause deformed pumpkins i believe. pap

actually? ron has a feeding/fungicide/spray/drench schedule he draws up yearly ---tweeking each year if necessary. many products are used (threw the kitchen sink at her this year)
im sure ron will write an article and make it available to the clubs. (after the dust settles some). we dont believe in holding back info. its still just a friggin pumpkin.not life or death like many of us have experienced.
freak 2 grew just like the 1789 (1725) harp did for ron in 2011.so for starters he got a second great 1725 seed from the harps.-----thank you

our plants are all between 700 and 800 sq ft. we do grow the main and sides in the back as well as in front of the choosen pumpkins. that main and growth after the fruit can be just as important as before the fruit .especially if you should have stump and main problems during the season. pap
