the 1789 wallace seed has been planted alot this year. alot of them have went light. i wonder if this cross but a differnt seed. could prove it self to produce heavy to chart. take for example the 998.6 pukos and 991 urena prove them selves. while the 1083.5 Martin didnt. granted it just might not of ben planted alot. its not always the biggest cross that proves it self. not saying the 1789 hasnt ,but just maybe one of the others could grow one heiver than the 1789 has. just a thought of my. any one else have thought on this topic?

Every 1725 harp x 1810 cross will have its own traits.Chris stevens did a 444 beachy(1725h xself) x 1810 cross . wiz(gary grande) did two 1810 x 1725 crosses. He used his 1725harp to poll. the main pumpkin on his 1810 and set a late fruit with my giant 1725 harp plant(produced 1451 est.scherber). All those crosses look the same on paper but theyll all produce different type pumpkins.Chris grew his cross and that fruit looked over the chart to me.

1276 Weighs Saturday. It WAS over the chart by a modest amount...but now that it's been off close to a month not sure it will still be over the chart...LOL.

I also had my 1725 harp crossed with the 1810, and several growers had a nice one as well.

723 Revier (1725 Harp x 1810 Stevens) The pollinator grew the 1451 Revier. The 1725 got bad wind damage to the main so Chad let it go and grew about 5 pumpkin on it. One of which he crossed with the 1810. I grew the 723 this year and it got a terrible shape and effected growth but should still be about 1000-1100 pounds. I will know this weekend when I way it.
