I had a pumpkin 1 week until weigh off get a small hole in a sag line .the pumpkin was short but long and wide.I crossed it with a big round one with good geneticts would you grow this

dano some wont grow dmg,, so to speak,, but some do,, depending on the genetics and size/shape of the fruit,, example ,, e.i the freak,, you make the call

I grew from the 1789 Wallace; it yielded a 740 lb after damage from a calf when I left the gate open. damaged or not it has the genetics.

DMG fruit is caused by either genetics or from the grower if your pumpkin looked real good I would grow it regardless of the dmg rating. The only real question is would you grow it yourself???

I'd grow it again and either prove it genetic damaged or grower damage. How else would you know?
