My 581 was a 1395 Wallace x 1596 Wallace cross. Both plants were aggressive growers and the 1596 Wallace x 1395 Wallace cross taped 523. Both crosses resulted in white fruit. Very few problems with these babies.

2010 was the year I was just getting started in improving my heavy clay soil and learning how to fertilize, etc., so the potential for a 1000+ pound fruit is excellent.

I plan to plant the 1395 again next year.

1725 Harp was 1385 Jutras x self. Ron Wallace said last week in Rhode Island he considers the 1385 one of the best seeds ever produced. Somewhere, in one of those 1395s, is a BIG one.

I have a 1314 direct from Steve Sperry. Maybe a 1314 x 1395 Wallace cross next year would a marriage made in heaven.

Benj, depending on your seed crosses, this could be a winner.
